About Pelješac peninsula

Pelješac peninsula is located in the southern Dalmatia region, famous for its great climate, nature, food and amazing landscape. Last but not least – by the wine. Whole peninsula is full of wineries and it’s the source of a unique kind of grape called Plavac Mali. We kindly invite you to visit our family winery Vino Špaleta, where you can taste the local wine and delicacies. The peninsula is also know as a source of some of the best sea food in Dalmatia, including mussels and oysters.

Pelješac peninsula is a close distance from many attractions, including Dubrovnik (80km, just over 1 hour drive), Medjugorie (113 km, around 2 hours drive) or Korčula island (less than 20 minutes by ferry from Orebić).

Pelješac is a peninsula in southern Dalmatia in Croatia. The peninsula is part of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County and is the second largest peninsula in Croatia. From the isthmus that begins at Ston, to the top of Cape Lovišta, it is 65 km or 40 mi long. The Bay of Mali Ston separates the peninsula from the Klek peninsula of Bosnia and Herzegovina and from the Croatian “mainland”. The Strait of Pelješac is located at its far western end, and it divides the peninsula from the island of Korčula. On the west part of Peninsula is the highest summit of Pelješac, 961 m or 3,153 ft.
